We’re in it with you and we can offer a bit of guidance on your pelvic floor, your core, your sleep schedule, and your trikonasana. Our talented teachers offer classes and workshops that just might help to keep you sane as you navigate a changing identity, how to stay healthy and balanced, and all the choices. All of them. We hope you’ll make your way into our community through a yoga class, a workshop, or our mom’s group.

Shannon Kozubik
Owner
Shannon gave birth to 4 babies and a yoga studio in 8 years! She founded Pomegranate in 2012 to support women and families through the busyness, transitions, and challenges of modern life. For Shannon, yoga asana and committed community provide the foundation for living a deeply embodied and connected life. She holds a Master’s Degree in Theology and is a certified yoga teacher, trained under the guidance of Nubia Teixeira.

Mariposa Lewicki
Manager
Mariposa was one of Pom’s first clients; In 2012, she was newly pregnant and regularly attending yoga and workshops. She decided not to return to her corporate job after birth and transitioned into the role of studio manager as her son became a toddler. Mariposa balances motherhood, hospitality, operations management, membership, client relations, and total support for the Pom team with grace and generosity.

Kari Baigrie
Teacher
Kari turned to yoga in 2001 to help heal a knee injury, while living in New York City and working as a photographer. Soon she realized the power of Yoga to bring as much spiritual ease as physical and knew that she had found her path. She is mother to two middle-school aged sons and infuses her yoga classes with practical and inspiring teachings. Kari trained with the Bhakti Nova School of Yoga and loves to grow vegetables, hike, and make art.

Amber Charne
Teacher
Amber fosters the experience of deep inner connection in her yoga classes. As a new mom herself, Amber brings the fullness of pregnancy and birth into movement, awareness, and nervous system regulation. Amber grew up in Woodacre and has over 600 hours of training with the Nosara Yoga Institute in Costa Rica, with certifications in Children's yoga, Restorative yoga, Anatomy of Yoga and Advanced Yoga.

Jackie Davey

Jackie teaches The Early Weeks to give expecting parents tools to prepare for a confident and connected postpartum experience. Along with training doulas and working as a postpartum doula, Jackie is the founder of Commune, a perinatal networking experience to create standards and integration in pregnancy and postpartum care.

Lisa Flato

Lisas’s Prenatal and Mom & Baby Yoga classes are an intuitive and nurturing space for mamas to explore their own practice. She encourages her students to trust in their wisdom and to take their practice one asana at a time – just like life! Lisa studied Theatre Arts at San Francisco State University and yoga at San Francisco’s Integral Yoga Institute and works as a doula, placenta encapsulator, yoga teacher, and mother.

Kaytee Fink

Kaytee is a Professional Care Arvigo Maya Abdominal Massage Therapist, a CA State Certified Massage Therapist, and she holds her 500-hour yoga teacher certificate through the Bhakti Nova School of Yoga. Kaytee aims to provide her clients with a foundational understanding of how muscles work together to support and empower movement in the most stabilized, balanced, and effective way possible.

Mollee Franklin

Mollee Franklin has been a birth doula since 2004 when she attended doula training at The Santa Rosa Birth Center with Debbie Merrit, CD. Mollee teaches Birth Works, a 1-day childbirth preparation class at Pomegranate, where she funnels her passion for educating women and families through pregnancy, labor and beyond.

Veronica Geretz
Teacher
Veronica lives her yoga. Her mothering, her relationships, and her community service align with the principles of yoga. She inspires this integration in her classes, encouraging physical alignment as well as alignment with one’s own truth. Her training includes Corepower Yoga Teacher Training and Nature’s Whisper Prenatal Teacher Training. She is also certified in Conflict Resolution and Mediation and teaches yoga at San Quentin Prison.

Jessica O’Connell

Jessica discovered yoga in the early 2000s when she was a stressed out East Coast transplant living in San Francisco and it profoundly changed her life for the better. As a teacher, she strives to help students discover compassion for themselves and others. Jessica teaches a soulful Vinyasa flow and has more than 500 hours of teacher training with Rusty Wells, Jane Austin, and Lesley Desaulniers.

Michelle of Green Light Coaching facilitates our Motherhood+Work class. For 10+ years, Michelle’s focus has been to help women create space for the roles that are important to them as well as defining boundaries and getting realistic with their own expectations.

Kelly Phipps
Teacher
Kelly is a Birth and Postpartum Doula, Certified Lactation and Childbirth Educator and mama to three awesome kids. She advocates for informed, human-centered care during all stages of pregnancy, labor and postpartum and has been serving Bay Area families since 2010. Outside of work and parenthood, she is an abstract artist and musician, who loves to bake bread and reads too many books at the same time.

Natalie Scheuring

Natalie's focus on breath as a way to remain struggle-free in one’s yoga practice has become an analogy for her approach to life in a chaotic world. She completed her teacher training with Ana Forrest in 2008 and, during her pregnancies, found yoga to be an invaluable support in dealing with the physical and emotional changes. Natalie completed her prenatal yoga certification with Jane Austin and passionately shares the physical and mental benefits of prenatal and postnatal yoga.

Elizabeth Shelhart

Elizabeth is a yoga teacher, massage therapist, herbalist, and doula who facilitates Pomegranate’s popular Prenatal Partners workshop. Her educational and experiential background allow her to effectively guide expecting couples through a class that focuses on coping techniques for labor. She has practiced yoga and meditation for over 20 years and has been a teacher for over 13 years.

Marci Silverberg
Teacher
Marci is a Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist as well as a Pregnancy and Postpartum Certified Exercise Instructor. Find Your Center was develped based on her 2 decades of experience in Physical Therapy, Women's Health, Fitness Instruction, and her own experience recovering from pregnancy and birth, and her self care and fitness journey as a mother of two.
